Chopper Spins Wildly into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
A helicopter hovering near a popular California beach abruptly started spinning out of control, ultimately losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm trees as spectators observed.
Videos posted online capture the helicopter starting to spin near the shoreline then descending near the perimeter of the beach, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a set of stairs close to the coastal road.

The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
